# 1980s movie, two men and one woman traveling via car, gets lost in an African desert

Release date: The person who is looking for it, saw it in 1991.  
Country of origin: Don’t know. Hungarian dubbing, mostly Caucasian actors.  
Info about the car: Some kind of off-roader. Mitsubishi, Toyota?

It’s supposedly a true story.

All three people were about 25-30 years old.  
For some reason, they drove off the tarmac and couldn’t find their way back.  
A lot of screentime was dedicated to them trying to find the road markers (empty barrels?).

It ends with an off-screen narrator saying that 15 years have passed since they’ve disappeared and they haven’t been found since.
