# 70s (?) teen drama

So there’s this move my mom showed me that I don’t remember much about except:

1. It centered around a group of friends, the boys did drugs (I don’t remember if the girls did)
2. At some point one of the girls dies
3. One of the boys is the friend group has a little brother who’s always just kinda in the way
4. Dudes parents suck I think
5. They get drugs from an agoraphobic man who has a gun and is scary?

This could be multiple movies but I’m remembering one where they’re by a lake and the entire thing is kinda twilight colored. Please help!
