Hello, I’m hoping someone here can help me find out the name of this movie I saw on TV once, I think in the 90s. The blonde female lead (FL) starts off in a happy relationship with a wonderful guy, who unfortunately dies, I think before they can marry. She is left destitute with a baby boy. As the baby’s father’s rich family wants nothing to do with them, the FL is forced to give her son up for adoption. Fast forward, and the FL has made a new life for herself, but she’s always thought of her son. The son, meanwhile, has been adopted by his mother’s archnemesis, and, not knowing who she is, reinserts himself into her life as an initially charming but ultimately psychopathic young man. Things come to a dramatic head as the FL is forced to tie him up in a chair (it might have been in a burning building). As he struggles, his necklace falls out of his shirt, and the FL is horrified to recognize this young man as her erstwhile son and embraces him. I think he might end up dying. The last thing i remember is her friends comforting her that she did what she had to do.
