Release date: The questioner saw it a couple of years ago. It was probably made after 2000.

Country of origin: Unknown, mostly Caucasian actors.

The destination of the group was probably a tropical country and the accident might have been a plane crash.

Probably not the right movie, but the basic premise is somewhat similar:

> **[Karwaan (2018) ⭐ 7.6 | Adventure, Comedy, Drama](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7919680/)**
>
> 1h 54m | Not Rated

Another guess, the coffin looks like a typical one, not a cylindrical one, and there is no plane crash in the movie:

> **[Masters of Menace (1990) ⭐ 5.2 | Comedy](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100119/)**

> 1h 37m | PG-13

I don’t remember a plot exactly, but maybe “Body” (2003)?
