I’m not sure if I did this right. Please forgive me. Several years ago, I caught part of a movie about a guy using a device to communicate with the dead. He would place a drop of his blood, or someone else who was interested in contacting a deceased loved one, into a device that would then contact that person and allow a brief conversation. He gave a public, sort of, demonstration of the device, at one point, but something went wrong. Anyway, he discovers later that he was actually speaking to people that were asleep, not dead. I think later in the movie he tries to contact his missing daughter and bring her back from the dead. She wasn’t dead, of course, so he ends up creating a duplicate of her, which creates all sorts of problems. It was a really interesting movie. Hard to follow after the whole duplicate problem, but I would really like to see it again. An interesting premise, I feel. I have spent hours with Google, Google Assistant, IMDb, and loads of other movie and movie search sites but I still can’t find it. Please help me if you can. Thanks, in advance.
