I remember a scene where one of the character, after firesite drinking with bunch of people wakes up next morning, everyone else is still sleeping, suddenly a black bear appears, sit down, and start talking to him. I think he gave him some advice. This was a kind of roadtrip comedy movie, with gang of bikers in it. End of 80’s or beginning of the 90’s. I always thought that this character was played by Donald Gibb but I can’t find this movie in his filmography. This character had a beard and was wearing jeans jacket I think.

I have not seen this, maybe?:
“Masters of Menace” (1990)

The year fits, road trip comedy, biker gang, and looking at the pictures on the IMDb page of the movie, there is a big, bearded, Donald Gibb type guy in it.
**UPDATE: This must be the one. You can watch the movie on YouTube here, circa at the 1:16:14 mark there is the talking bear:**
