I was young watching this around 2006-2007 it reminded me of slumdog millionaire. I remember a young boy being sent away and was later found and brought in by a man with dreads and kids who stole or pick pocketed. I believe an uncle of his was trying to locate him who wore a fez and had glasses. In the end of the movie the boy was trapped by the man with dreads and climbed out a window to escape where a group of people including his uncle waited to catch him where he later fell from the building and was reunited with his uncle.
