Once, as a child, I was watching TV and they showed a creepy cartoon about a cannibal giant who kidnapped people and took them somewhere like a castle. The plot revolves around the fact that he once again kidnapped people, but one guy was able to escape, after which in the end he killed the cannibal and saved the people whom he had already put in the cauldron, sort of. After which they took out the American flag and began to sing.

Could it have been a “Jack and the Beanstalk” story? In some versions, the giant is a man-eater.

Were all the figures men, or perhaps some animals (e.g. Bugs Bunny)?

Also, when were you a child, so that we can narrow down the year?
