So I can only remember one scene/character from a film and it’s driving me crazy not being able to remember what film it’s from… I’ve searched online and can’t find anything!

It’s an animated film that I watched when I was young (early-mid-90s). The only scene I remember is that there was a bird (I think it was a swallow… remember it being black and white and she wore a red headscarf/bandana). This bird was definitely a side-character rather than main but was a speaking part and was a female character. In the scene I remember the swallow being injured/dying…

That’s all I remember!! If anyone can remember which film this scene is from I will be so impressed!!

Okay, may be a longshot, but Jacquimo in “Thumbelina”?

There’s a scene when he’s injured and Thumbelina covers him with her red shawl.
