I can’t remember the name… I think it has “dark” in it. I thought the title was “Alone in the dark”, but that’s not it… Basically, the woman is dead and she is stuck in her house, she can’t get out. But she’s kind of stuck in the limbo, between life and death. There are monsters and creatures there, but there’s also people and she never knows who is trying to lure her. At one point she’s able to see the path that is supposed to lead her to heaven (I think it’s the attic or something), but the monsters try to stop her. It’s a rather old film, maybe 80’s or 90’s.

Could it be “Left in Darkness” (2006)?
