I wanted to watch the grand Budapest hotel, and I thought that was this movie but it wasn’t cause I just watched it and the movie wasn’t the same.

The movie I started to watch was about an actor in a show or a play, he went from room to room either discussing or arguing with the director? There was a scene with a guy in a bathtub and the 2 men kissed. Next scene I believe he was on a balcony either talking to a woman in lingerie on the balcony or in a window across? They may have been costars in the play, I don’t remember?
This wasn’t the whole movie I had a hard time following so I turned it off to watch again another day, today was that day and that’s when I realized it wasn’t grand Budapest hotel but a whole different movie?
I believe the movie had some bigger name actor in it but I can’t for the life of me remember anything else?

The movie may have been black and white or just very dark in setting. Not like dark in plot.

You could try
[She’s Funny That Way (2014)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She%27s_Funny_That_Way_(film))
a screwball comedy film about the casting and staging of a play.

> **[She's Funny That Way (2014) ⭐ 6.2 | Comedy, Drama](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1767372/)**
