2000's Horror film with an elevator that falls apart but it turns out it was an amusement ride

I have always remembered this as one of the Final Destination films but I have rewatched those all lately and it wasn’t one of them. I am assuming it was another horror franchise and I kinda of feel like this is a pretty obvious one. I saw it in the theater so it was definitely a mainstream film. Thank you for having a better memory than I do lol
