Set in 50-60s America. Visually like california motorway. A man is getting chased, like a driving movie. All i remember well was at the end. The guy who was being hunted. Was the last in a long line of guardian/stewards for humanity. He was trying to get to his resting place. Ends on a visual of single platforms/beds running in to the distance of a cavern and he was standing by the last bed.
