I only remember a couple scenes about it.
The first thing I remember is that the protagonist is a teen girl, who I believes lives in a space station with her family that orbits the Earth. I think she was blonde?
There’s a computer virus involved, which is visually represented by an animated gif which “eats” computer programs by passing over the window for that program like a lawnmower
The girl had got her hands on the virus or something (either at the beginning of the movie or the end idk), which was a small grey plastic device the size of a thumb but thicker, I think it might have just been a storage device.
She ended up having to go to Earth while the space station her family is on deals with a series of technical issues which later turn out to be caused by the virus.
she and a few friends she met on Earth try to get to the bottom of it, which is a race with time to solve the problem before the space station is destroyed
when the station is saved, the computer of the villan gets a virus which is represented by an animated gif if the girl’s head which deletes data by “eating” the program window in passes.
I think the setting was ecofuturism? I remember watching it before Spy Kids but i think it was from that era or slightly older. I believe this would’ve predated Windows XP, the computers ran something that looked like Windows 95 or Mac OS 9. The monitors may have been LCD screens,
Thank you it was Zenon. It was bothering me that I couldn't remember it.
