90s movie. Cabin kidnapped couple. Canadian made?

What I remember:

  • Kidnapped couple locked in a cabin,
  • 1 male kidnapper,
  • Scene of man and kidnapper making noise in the basement as woman listens,
  • After the event, man is stunned, quiet and motionless as woman tries to wake him up.

Any ideas?

Just a guess, maybe?:
“Dead Cold” (1995)

1990’s Canadian movie, couple, cabin, criminal.

I checked. Not this one. I clarify memory. Female is in the basement looking up at struggling men through the floorboard. All that is heard is thumping noises. I think the kidnapper says "get over here..." Or "where are you going..?".
