In this movie, a couple finds themselves at a motel at night, and cannot leave. I think their car crashes and they “die” when they try. The motel turns out to be some sort of Purgatory, with the couple (or one of them, at least) becoming the new owners/managers at the end until they can find someone to take their place. The movie probably came out around 2010-2015.
