A woman works in a diner as a waitress.
She is also studying to become a lawyer (?).
A man enters the diner with a collegue of his, who is rude to the waiting staff.
The man falls in love with the waitress and he helps her pass the BAR exam (?).
They get married.
The man is rich.
From earlier relationships they both have two children each, a son and a daughter, so they become a family of six.
The man’s children are older, maybe around 20.
The woman’s children are younger, maybe around 14-16.
The newly-formed family goes on a camping trip together to help the kids bond.
At the beginning, the children are unfriendly towards each other.
The son of the woman would like to have an expensive shoe, like the one his stepbrother has.
In envious rage he puts some kind of bear attractant spray on the older boy’s shoe.
The older boy gets to know a group of cheerleaders who are also camping on the same camping grounds as them.
They invite him to go skinny dipping in a nearby hot spring but it’s a ruse.
Once he’s naked they steal his clothes and notify their overprotective coach.
The young man flees through a patch of poisonous plants (poison ivy?) and develops a rash, all over his body.
The two daughters go boating with a couple of boys and maybe get stranded in the middle of a lake. The younger daughter (the wife’s kid) becomes injured and the older daughter takes care of her, while they wait for the boys to swim ashore, to get help.
