A grey-haired man living on a farm with his two daughters gets accosted by two men, one claims to be his brother, he wants his inheritance

Release date: 1980-2000.

Drama.

I don’t know when it’s set, there are firearms but melee weapons are still common.

The daughters are ~ 16-20 years old.

One bad guy is only referred to by his military rank, “Corporal”.

The old man doesn’t believe their story, he sends them away.

They start harassing the family.
They kill an ox, its head is found on a pike.
They set fire to something.
Eventually the old man attacks his “brother” but the Corporal fatally shoots him in the back with a pistol.

The girls flee to the woods.

They lure the Corporal into a pit, he falls in and the girls stab him to death with a lance or something like that.

I don’t know how the other guy dies but he collapses near a stream in the woods.

Last shot is a fortune telling woman discovering the corpse and dropping her Tarot (?) cards in the water with a sad expression on her face.

Actually I already have most of the info except what they were growing. So, they saw it in the 80s or 90s. And they say it's set in the "Middle Ages". I didn't include this last info because of the pistol. I wanted to leave it more open.

There were no firearms in the Middle Ages, so I’ll assume it takes place after 1700.

There’s over 900 results on IMDB for character name including “corporal” that were released 1980-2000. Around the 500 mark there’s the series Bordertown, could that be it?

If that’s not it, can you confirm the rank is corporal?

I'll forward Bordertown, thank you for the tip! One of the bad guys is called by his rank as "káplár" which is "corporal" in English. But when it comes to dubbing, one can not be certain. Sometimes translators deviate from the original.

The word káplár is from what language? Is the one from the movie or dubbed on your language? Are you sure it was an US production or could it be from another English speaking country?

Sorry, I just noticed the questions. Káplár is a Hungarian word, it's from the movie, the person who is looking for it has seen it with Hungarian dubbing. I'm not sure where the movie was produced.
