A kung fu movie where the hero get his hand burn and the show chicken leg

Hi, I’m looking for a classic 70-80 Chinese Kung Fu movie, I just remember a scene where the hero gets his hand burns and they show a picture of a chicken leg, 3 fingers and all. the villian fights a style that he shakes/flips his finger in front of your face to “confuse” you. I haven’t seen it in 20 odd years so maybe i’m mixing the two scenes. But either way if anyone has a clue…
thanks in advance!

First of all thanks for trying
However, just watched it and it’s not it. Neither of the scenes I mentioned were in that movie. If there are other suggestions I’d love to hear them.
Much obliged.

OK, so I’ve found it, I actually mixed 2 movies together. The flicking fighting style is from “Drunken Master” (1978) with Jackie Chan, and the chicken hand is from “Crystal Fist” (1979) with Billy Chong. I guess the reason I mixed them is that both movies had the same master (Siu-Tin Yuen).
Thanks anyway!

The movie you are thinking of is likely “The Master” (1980), also known as “Long Xiao Ye” or “3 Evil Masters”. It is a classic Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Tsui Hark and starring Chen Kuan Tai and Lu Feng.

The scene you mentioned where the hero’s hand is burned and a picture of a chicken leg with three fingers is shown is a famous and memorable scene from the movie. The villain in the movie, played by Lu Feng, does indeed use a finger-flicking technique to confuse and disarm his opponents.

“The Master” is a highly-regarded martial arts film from the 1980s and features many impressive fight scenes, as well as a complex plot with themes of revenge and redemption. It’s definitely worth a watch if you’re a fan of classic kung fu movies.
