Probably a movie from the 80s or 90s
The Protagonist is a prototype fighter or bomber pilot.
I don’t remember the details, but the ending was
A prototype fighter or bomber was stolen by a woman, (she is the villain)
She drove the prototype somewhere (perhaps to bomb somewhere?)
Protagonist chases after her, but his plane lacks any means of attack,
So he the movie ends with him flying side by side on her plane and turning on afterburner someting, causing her to crash.
The plane probably looked similar to the SR-71, F-117, maybe not
A memorable scene is takes off, checks the plane’s armament on the cockpit display,
and says it’s unarmed.
I remember the scene where checked the armament on a display that looked like this.
