The soldiers wear similar armor and gear to what Roman foot soldiers wore.
The monsters have pointed ears, sharp teeth, maybe wings and no fur.
If they manage to bite or claw a human, they’ll become infected and soon they turn into a monster of the same species.
Eventually all of the soldiers are killed or turned but one.
This remaning soldier stabs a pregnant woman to death, who has something to do with the creatures.
After that, he enters a cave and starts to fight the monsters but quickly becomes overwhelmed and the movie ends as he turns into one of them too.
