As a child, I saw an animated series with art very similar to He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. As far as I remember, the main theme of the animated series was ecology, the main character encouraged people to eat garbage and plastic bottles. Sometimes there were inserts with live actors. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT CAPTAIN PLANET.
