I saw this movie on TV years ago (eighties?), so don’t know if it was a theatrical or TV made release. I only saw a few bits and would like to see the whole thing.
A young man meets and begins a romance with an older woman, who he guesses is 37. He tells her she is this age and she doesn’t respond either way.
The man knows the woman’s daughter is coming to visit her and meet him so he buys her a present, which is a big cuddly snoopy. Daughter arrives and she is obviously a lot older than the guy thought, to his embarrassment.
He asks the woman about it and she says the daughter is 24. This would mean the woman had her at age 13. She then tells him that she never said she was 37, he said it. She is actually 43.
I remember the male actor being Beau Bridges but I think this is wrong because I cannot identify such a movie in his filmography. Does anyone have any idea what it is?
