This is an indie film I saw within the last 5 years. The story takes place possibly in contemporary midwest. The lead is played by a talented female folk musician in her early to mid 20’s with long dark hair who arrives in her home town after her father dies. It’s a revenge plot. Some family members are keeping things from her and she is there to claim what is hers. There’s a scene in the film where the family is gathering in the deceased father’s property and she is playing guitar and singing. After seeing her play an uncle or friend of the father says something like: “you know she phrases just like her daddy” . in the end of the film she kills someone and goes back on the road. I’ve tried all sorts of searches using these descriptions and I cannot find this movie. Thank you in advance for any help!
