I’m looking for cartoon 2D movie from 90s with creatures (there was a ram too) collecting magic stardust ( purple and shiny ) into buckets and thanks this trick, they have beautiful dreams. But there is also a Nightmare (something like black knight) riding on a black horse. He attacks them or rather their dreams and we see them in the clouds. One of the characters dreams about snakes in the nightmare.

Thank you for both suggestions, but it isn't. I'm sure that it was more gloomy and dark. Very important character was a ram with horns (not sheep).
