I remember a movie about two policemen (90s or early 2000-2001, made in US), but I can’t remember any details. I know that one is Irishman and the other is African American man. They spend some time in a bar with a jukebox and choose some of their favorite songs. Then I remember another scene: the Irish policeman tells his partner in the car racist jokes about African Americans. The other replies, “Be careful. I know a few spicy jokes about Irishmen.”
UPDATE:
I skimmed through the movie, and although there is a scene when they are in a car and have a conversation, but the quote is not there. Also, there is another scene where the Irish cop says racist jokes to the black cop, but he does not react with the quote. Some pub scenes, but that specific quote is not there. So, this is probably not the right movie.
The year does not match, but it is a buddy cop comedy with an Irish cop and an Afro-American FBI agent. I saw this movie only once years ago and I do not recall whether there is that quote in the movie, but I will try to verify it.
