There was this movie that had a protagonist (i think it was a she) and at the beginning of the movie it commented on the fact that if a couple is walking down the street holding hands and an obstacle appears (e.g. a street pole) and then the couple stops holding hands to pass the obstacle and then re-grabs hands, that means that the couple will eventually break up.i remember one background shot that a couple after doing so was hit by a bus.
