The protagonist is a male detective or private investigator who looks like actor Giancarlo Giannini (with a moustache).
He finds a VHS tape. The footage shows a man being lured into the woods and getting murdered. It’s like a snuff film. The victim had spiky hair like the Statue of Liberty in the U.S.
He keeps rewatching the tape trying to find a clue that’ll lead him to the people responsible for it.
Near the end of the movie the detective gets kidnapped by two men (brothers?).
One of the brothers was bald at the top of this head and had long, black hair around his skull. Kinda like the style Hulk Hogan donned.
The guys keep him locked in a remote shack in the woods and they beat him up sometimes.
One day, the long haired guy brings the detective some food and he takes an opportunity to free himself and subdue the villain. Then the other kidnapper appears, they fight and the detective wins eventually.
