The flick is very quiet and eerie, characterized by long, uneventful shots.
The container is fairly big, if I remember correctly, big enough to accomodate an adult.
The man simply sits and watches the container. It has no opening towards the apartment but only to the outside world, via a hole in the wall of the building, presumably to lure something in, although the apartment is not on the ground floor.
After a while, another man arrives and takes over the job from the first.
This one however doesn’t watch the box for long because he has invited his girlfriend over and they start making out.
Soon, a female ghost materializes and it kills them both.

I could be wrong but David Cronenberg, David Lynch and Clive Barker come to my mind when I try to remember it.

It was from a Twin Peaks episode from 2017.
It appears that this glass box was featured in more than one episode, I don’t know which one I saw.
