Only remember bits and pieces - Movie about young woman/teen living with her mom in an apartment, bad part of town. Girl sneaks to a music video shoot with her friend, I think they walk by a gang on the way there, maybe get catcalled, and the rapper picks her to be in it. She ends up hanging around him, at one point I think she’s watching him play cards with some other guys - all of them clearly bad news. I think at some point someone is running and being followed by a car? I think it takes place in England or maybe Africa - I don’t think it was America. A more serious vibe to the movie. Driving me nuts!
