Ok so here it goes…. The movie IS NOT The Stranger by Eli Roth. I think it has a short name like two or three words long. It has an actor that looks similar to Clay Elwes. The man comes to a town and appears to room with a deceased friends family. The two guys were supposedly in the military together. The guy end up teaching the family’s young son how to protect himself from bullying. (Just a random scene I remember) But weird violent crimes start happening when he appears in this town. Fast forward and it’s made known to the viewer that this guy was part of some “secret government project” and he’s very unstable.
That’s all I can remember. I think a synopsis blurb you see on a streaming service is like “once you let him in, something something…” ugh that’s all I got.
