The film is from the early 90s possibly late 80s. The protagonist is a teenage girl with red hair curly/frizzy hair. I think she is an orphan (no, this is not Annie).
The only scene I remember is she gets a job with her friend cleaning a woman’s house. The woman has a bunch of awards displayed in her living room, they are filled with chocolates. The girls eat the chocolates and the woman finds out, firing the girls.
It may possibly be a foreign film but they do speak English. Oh and the girl gets made fun of, called ugly a lot. Anyway, thanks for any help
