I don’t remember much, and some details maybe wrong. I saw that movie a long time ago: in 2000-s or early 2010-s.
The plot involves a girl and her father. The girl’s mother died some time ago. The girl has a toy rabbit. And at one moment she became very ill. I don’t remember the illness, but it’s contagious. She is constantly with her toy rabbit, fighting through her illness. She sees some dreams or hallucinations. And that’s the unusual part of the movie: it’s shot like a classic live-action movie, but in this part (these dreams or hallucinations) it’s animated, like a cartoon. And in these visions whatever they are she also sees her mother, and there is some scene with carousel.
When the girl recovers, her father is forced to burn all the things she had with her during her illness because it’s all contagious - blankets, clothes, and even the toy rabbit. The girl cries because it’s her favorite toy, but at the very end, an actual live rabbit suddenly jumps out of the fire.
