I saw this movie and cried so hard my heart almost stopped at the end. To this day the memories are so vivid and fresh I get a panic attack and involuntary tearing when I remember how it felt like watching the ending. Please kindly help me find it so I can watch it as an adult and find some peace. The movie was definitely pre 2008 and of Asian making (might be korean, japanese, chinese or thai, definitely not Hindu/Bollywood) the main character is a small school boy of asian descent living with his parents, driving a skateboard…The whole story happens in some asian countryside. He meets a fox and befriends that fox. Then some scientists take that fox to a lab to do experiments on it/ study it or maybe cure it? I don’t remember.The boy tries to stop them but they take the fox away in a white car/van. Later on the boy escapes from home to find that lab and to steal the fox back. When he does, he senaks into the lab and frees the fox. Then they both escape onto a flowery meadow/field. Then the boy plays with the fox very happily, but the fox is fatally sick, the boy doesnt know this… and the fox dies on the meadow, surrounded by flowers. I don’t remember much more I have seen it on television in 2005/6. The Credits were definitely alike Chinese or Japanese/ korean - what I mean is not latin lettered.
