In the mid to late 1970s I lived on an American Air Force base in England, and I used to go to the local movie theater every weekend to watch a matinee movie for kids (I was about 7 or 8 at the time). All of the movies were relatively recent, such as the Herbie and The Love Bug movies and the Pippi Longstocking movies. But there was one movie I only vaguely recall that has been bugging me for years. All I remember about is that it involved a friendship between two young boys, one of whom was white and one of whom was darker skinned (I’m not positive, but I think he may have been from India). If I recall correctly, there is a scene toward the end of the movie where the boys are very cold and one gives his coat to the other. Does anyone have any idea what movie this could be? I believe it was in color and from the 1970s.

1Is it e’ Lollipop (aka Forever Young, Forever Free)?
Yes, I think that’s it. I thought it had some connection to the word lollipop, and I almost mentioned that in my original post, but I just wasn’t sure enough. Thank you!
