I rented a horror movie back in the I want to say late '80s or early '90s I remember very little about it all I remember is it had something to do with a VHS tape that if you watched it it killed you and it is not video drone it is not terrorvision it is not the ring. all I remember is the opening scene they were watching a movie and it was I don’t know kind of like a BDSM scene they were there was whips involved they were on the bed and then they ended the girl ended up whipping the guy to death or something because that was what was happening in the movie and then the rest of the movie was basically if you watched the tape it killed you.

Hi thanks for the replies. I for sure was NOT Spiral. It was from the late 80s I saw it in like 1990 or thereabouts. The opening scene was a guy and gal on a bed doing some sort BDSM stuff and what they were seeing on the video was happening to them and the tape killed them. I don’t think it was an anthology cuz the main characters were trying to stop whatever it was by blowing up a satallite dish or something like that as the climax of the film. Unfortunately this is all I remember. That first one could be it but I can’t find it online anywhere.
