I think it was from the 80s or early 90s, but not sure. It must have been about a monster or demon that traps people in hell/other dimension/past. The only thing I remember is at the end the guy thinks he has escaped, I think he is celebrating at a bar. When he goes to use the payphone he realizes it doesn’t take quarters (indicating that he is still trapped in the past?) and he realizes he didn’t really escape. I think at this point the monster/demon comes crashing through the wall. Please help! I’m going crazy!
Sounds like one of the Hellraiser movies. There are several and I have only seen the first one back in the 80’s and don’t remember it well.
