I’m trying to find a movie I saw last November. I only saw the ending and this is what I remember of it:
It takes place in America USA and there is a group of guys that are in a bank vault and one guy asks if there are any explosives. Another guy answers no since the room was swept. One of the guys asks if the vault was recently painted. When another guy in the group says yes, they realize that the explosive is in the paint. They also realize that when the electricity gets turned back on, it’ll ignite the explosive paint. The vault door starts to close, causing the group to run out of the vault leaving two men: the cop and the thief. The thief begins to electronically transfer $200,000,000 into an account. The vault explodes.
The next scene shows the memorial service for the cop. The eulogist says that he had a rough childhood that began in an orphanage. The next scene shows good guy and bad guy looking at the window where the eulogy is taking place. The thief tells the cop that he got a really great eulogy.
The next scene shows an anchor woman on an electronic billboard saying that an anonymous person donated $100,000,000 to an orphanage.
It is definitely NOT The Vault (2021), Army of the Dead, The Score, The Italian Job, Den of Thieves, or The Take (2007 or 2016).
Does anyone recognize this specific explosive paint twist or orphanage ending?
Please help me find this movie! Thanks to all!
