Hello everyone,
I’m looking for a movie, (black & white, 1940s‑1950s film). The specific scene is a sensual, hypnotic musical number sung by a female performer behind a sheer curtain but not a band performing, just the singer. The singer is possibly Latin/Spanish or of darker complexion, singing in a mid‑tempo Latin‑style or bolero rhythm. The chorus and wording include something like “ahhh ahhh lay, lay” or “leh‑leh” or “olé, olé” or “oyé, oyé” There’s a man and woman in the scene together and the singer’s performance is directed at the man, as if casting a spell. It’s Not the lead actress who sings it but more of a supporting singer in the scene. I want to rewatch it and hear the song. I’m posting everywhere until I find it.
I’ve 100s of suggestions but none fit.
