I need help to remember the name of a movie

What I remember about the movie that it is about an old man that his real age is much higher (over 100 years) than how he looks. I remember he was living with other elders in a nurse-home or a hospital and they were watching an old movie or tv show they felt nostalgic to. I remember also that he had a rat or a mouse in a walking distance in a cottage in the forest somewhat related to him.

Can anybody kindly help me in finding the name of the movie, I will appreciate it.

Yessss, you are right. I really thank you. The main action in the movie of Tom Hanks, let me forgot about the part that he was old, specially, it was performed by a different actor.
