I’m looking for the name of a movie or TV series. Probably from the 1980s.

A series about the Hundred Years’ War.

Joan of Arc was mentioned. The protagonist is a French knight who fell in love with a woman. From what I remember, this woman, through various adventures, married a prince in Muslim Spain. This hero suffered a head wound and survived thanks to a trepanation of the skull. The trepanation was performed by the court physician of this Muslim prince from Spain. I believe it was a mini-series. It’s possible it was a French-Spanish collaboration.
