Kidnapped daughter, fat man and desert, mysterious action movie

I’m looking for one action movie. (it was a B-grade action movie, from the 80s or 90s). The plot is about a father was trying to rescue his kidnapped daughter, who had been kidnapped by his wife’s father. He was assisted in the rescue by his ex-girlfriend and her friend, her friend was very fat and the ex-girlfriend had black curly hair (something like Cynthia Rothrock). The last scene of the film is when the father-in-law and his daughter land on the spot, the daughter says goodbye to her father and comes into the helicopter and flies away. The father gets up and runs towards the guys with his katana, then the picture stops and only gunshots are heard.

the odd part is heroes dying. should be easier to find i would've thought. no other memories of scenes?

I know. My friend Yoshitsune from csfd.cz looking for this movie, but he doesn't remembers too many details. https://www.csfd.cz/uzivatel/431493-yoshitsune/prehled/ The film is set in the Philippines (perhaps), because the ending was on a beach or somewhere with white sand. I don't know exactly what the main character looked like, but the fat dude was really fat, very obese and he lunged at some shooters and killed them with his bare hands, even when they shot him. There were more guns than fight, probably.
