Looking for a movie back in the 90’s I believe, It’s definitely not The Goonies.
It’s about kids going on a treasure hunt and they have a riddle to follow and somewhere like the dessert. Very vaguely remember. Brings back my childhood. Please find this !!

I can’t remember but they were teenagers.. Sahara There were boys and then the girls found out the treasure hunt and followed They also find a riddle
