I’m 34 so it would have had to be in the early 80’s if not very late 70’s. I can only vaguely recall parts of it but, to my recollection, it was about two boys that get lost in a forest and end up coming across a furry, red creature that swings through the treetops.
That is all I recall, aside from the ending where they end up in some cave with other lost children or something? I just remember there being a cave full of crystals and a lot of different kids looking around at them.
Can anyone help? I will be eternally grateful! I’ve been trying to recall what that movie was for the last like 10 years

Could it be The Argon Quest? some of the pictures seem to suggest one of the kids is a boy and one resembles a boy. There seems to be a cave with other kids.
