Hi. I can’t remember movie in which, I think, a woman (or a man with a woman) has been living in a solitary house, like a village/garden/farm house. I think she was a victim of a crime, or her child was a victim… The police investigator/detective kept searching for the criminal for a long time but could find anything, and they kind of closed the case. They kept coming back to the woman thinking she (the victim) knew something, but she did not know anything about it. And at the end of the movie it was revealed that she kept hiding the criminal in that house, locked up, half out of pity, half out of punishment, and after many years she finally released him, I think.

OMG, it’s probably this, I had a feeling it had to something with “eyes”, but I kept thinking about “Julia’s eyes”! I think I watched the remake, and will watch the spanish version as soon as possible.
