I saw this scene from this film.

Content of scene:
Woman, spectators.

Woman is dancing.

At some point, I noticed she has a tail or a tentacle and it seems to be strangling her.

Details: woman seems to be color of green, blue, or something unusual.

Additional details:
Torso of woman seems human, rest of her is creature-like (like a snake, maybe).

I never finished the film or saw the beginning.

Context: I saw this on cable in Los Angeles County, CA, USA, between 1985 and 1994.

Genre: possibly fantasy, or science-fiction.
