This film I think was about an office worker. He got fired and then depressed, then someone revealed an interesting science experiment he could take part in. It involved hooking up to his brain, and sending him into these surreal psychological worlds.
At some point there was this dance club scene, where a cool song played. I Shazamed it, and it was “Strangers” by Medsound.
Eventually, all the experimentation basically turned him into Lucy. He then went back to his job. But his boss said that while it’s good to see him, he can’t let him back in. He left in an eerie manner, and later he seemingly mind controlled his ex-coworkers into suicide, before committing it himself.
It didn’t have that big of a budget, easily a B movie. That’s all I remember
