I’ve been trying to remember this movie we had to watch a few times in elementary school in the early 90s in the US. I’m pretty sure it was an 80s movie. It was probably really low budget. I think there might have been time/space travel. This family gets separated on a planet (maybe Earth). They were wearing shiny suits I believe, and I think they all had a headband on their foreheads. I distinctly remember a scene where someone needed to eat, abs they were asked to describe things around them. They described a watermelon to someone over a radio/wireless communication.
