I’m trying to find the name of a mafia type of movie. The characters dressed like people would in the 1940s or 50s. Unfortunately I had only viewed a clip of this movie on youtube years ago. The scene is that there was a man and woman and they were talking outside on the sidewalk in a city. Friendly conversation until the man says something along the lines of “You should check out the dress store down the street.” The woman happily obliges and she starts walking towards where he was pointing. As she’s walking the buildings start to look sketchier and she looks back at the man and he just tells her to keep going. She approaches the building and peeks through and theres a bunch of men boarding up the windows. The inside looks very rundown. They’re whispering something and stop when they see her. It’s left up to interpretation that they were going to kill her when she enters. The lady ends up running away and yells back at the first guy that maybe she’ll buy a dress a different day.
