I only remember the following: the setting is Europe or USA ( but most likely, Europe) of the 19th century.
A young lady (a very nice-looking blonde) takes piano lessons aiming to become a professional pianist. However, her teacher does not think the young lady is talented. She keeps going to his house for the lessons, even though the teacher criticizes her more and more.
One day, she has to sing while playing a piece. The teacher and his wife are stunned - the voice is superb. The girl still thinks her goal is to perform on stage as a pianist. But eventually, she becomes an opera singer.
I have been looking for this movie for years now. I think I saw it some time in 2012-14.
